Welcome to East Bridgford Medical Centre

There are currently four doctors who work regularly at East Bridgford Medical Centre, three partners: Drs Scaffardi (Male), Stewart (Female), and Cope (Male) and Dr Pryor (Female) who together with our staff, provide a comprehensive medical service for East Bridgford and surrounding villages. Patients registered at the medical centre have a named accountable GP who is responsible for their overall care, however you can make an appointment to see any of the doctors within the practice.

Our practice is a training practice for GP registrars. These doctors, who are fully qualified, are usually with us for four to twelve months at a time. Dr Atalabi (Female), Dr Pepper (Female) and Dr Islam (Male) are with us from the 6th August.

PRACTICE CLOSURE

The Practice will close for Staff Training on 11th December between 12.30 and 3.00pm. In case of an emergency please ring the doorbell or call the practice number. Dispensary will be closed during these hours.

EXTENDED GP EVENING AND WEEKEND OPENING HOURS

As a Rushcliffe patient you can now access routine appointments in the evenings and at weekends. These appointments are best suited for things that will not need ongoing review by your usual practice.

You can book through your surgery during opening hours for appointments between 6.30pm and 8pm in the evening on weekdays and between 8.30am and 12.30pm at weekends.  If you request one of these appointments, which are outside of usual working hours you will be offered a slot with a Rushcliffe GP, Nurse or Healthcare Assistant at one of three locations across the borough. The location will depend on the day of your appointment.

The additional evening and weekend appointments will be available at:

East Bridgford Medical Centre

Castle Healthcare Practice in West Bridgford

Keyworth Medical Practice

As you may not be seeing your usual GP, you will need to give consent for the GP you are seeing to have access to your medical records and to send information about your consultation back to your usual GP

Please note that all extended hours appointments are pre-bookable only by contacting your own GP Practice.

There is no walk in service

If you require urgent assistance before 8am or after 6.30pm, please call 111.
