DISPENSER/DISPENSING ASSISTANT
Situated in the village of East Bridgford, we are a rural Practice in a purpose built Medical Centre serving 7,900 patients in the surrounding area, including the dispensing of their medicines and we have a need to expand our Dispensary Team.
Two posts are available:
- Experienced Dispenser: You will preferably have either a BTech or NVQ Level 2 for Dispensing Doctors Assistants, or similar, or are working towards one of these. You will be using our computer system (SystmOne) for repeat and acute dispensing. This post is available now. Quote Job Ref: DISP01
- Dispensary Assistant: You will be attending to patients at the counter, handing over prescriptions and collecting fees as appropriate, helping with unpacking deliveries of drugs, and keeping the dispensary tidy. Hours per week can be discussed ideally between 15 and 35 and would ideally be spread over three to five days per week. Customer relations experience is desirable. Successful applicants will be eligible to join the NHS Pension Scheme and appointment is subject to Criminal Records Bureau check.
